Butter That Cream Frosting


 

Buttercream is versatile and you can use it for most anything, from cookies to cakes to covering yourself in it and calling yourself a dessert!  

But did you know you can flavor it?  Here's how: 

 

Buttercream Frosting

1/3 C butter, softened

3 C powdered sugar

1/2 C milk (or a flavored syrup if you want it flavored, like raspberry or blueberry or hazelnut, or whatever you like)

1/2 t vanilla


You can also thin this with more liquid if you like your frosting thinner, say for cookies, like how my MIL does for her fake "Italian Wedding Cookies", that you can find here (click here for recipe)
